| This home is an entertainer's dream! Inside as well as outside areas entertain beautifully -- whether it be for 75 guests or just the family. The front courtyard has a fountain, fireplace, and beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Through the front door there is a 20' tower entry, with beautiful inlaid tile work both at the door, and where the halls meet in the center. The formal dining room is on one side of the entry (including a separate butler's pantry with built-in wine chiller), and the bonus room/den is on the other. The formal living room is straight ahead. Custom window coverings and different styled carpet in each room provide nice accents.
The floor plan is very open and airy, making it easy for guests to move from room to room, and from outside courtyards and patios back inside. The backyard has a covered patio the entire length of the house, which has ceiling fans, lights, and speakers from the main stereo system inside. There is also a built-in barbeque for the grill master of the family, all of which make for a nice evening outside.
In the kitchen, the double convection ovens make getting holiday meals ready easier, and the large center island is great for buffet-style serving. There is plenty of cupboards and storage both around the perimeter of the kitchen and under the island. The conjoined kitchen/breakfast nook/family room make it possible for the person in the kitchen making meals/doing cleanup to still be part of the family, and the family room is large but cozy with another fireplace next to the built-in entertainment center.
The master suite is lovely, with french doors leading to the back patio, and "Silouhette" window coverings which provide privacy but still allow the room to be very light. The bath has separate "his and hers" vanities, and travertine tile throughout (flooring, countertops, tub enclosure, and walls of separate shower). The walk-in closet is HUGE. |
